We are joining with the Mission Sisters as they celebrate 150 years as a congregation. We acknowledge the vision and determination of Euphrasie Barbier that has led to making this Catholic learning community what it is today. We have a positive start for the year with our results. Our key focus last year was to raise the quality of our NCEA results by increasing the percentage of Merits and Excellences. Our preliminary results show that on nearly all of our indicators, we have significantly increased these percentages. Congratulations to all the hard work of both our staff and students. Congratulations to the following students:- Four Year 10 students, Mereana Te Tuhi-Fisher, Jazmine Tamaiparea, Raven Priestley and Waiaria Putaranui-Henderson attended a Youth Summit at Turangawaewae organised by Te Wananga o Aotearoa with approximately 80 other students (Nov 15-17th).
Congratulations to Mereana and we wish her well in her role this year. The following students have had writing selected to be published in a book of writing by Young New Zealanders.
